From Our Children to Our Troops
Tens of thousands of American Service Members are deployed in hostile and remote regions of the world, including the Middle East, Afghanistan, and on ships throughout international waters. The physical conditions they must endure are difficult and they may be separated from loved ones for long periods of time.
Operation “Magic tree ” seeks to lift morale and put smiles on the faces of our troops this holiday season by giving 15,000 soldiers a present that reminds them of home and lets them know we are thinking of them and appreciate their service. Hungry Heart Children’s Ministry International is raising donations to send “Magic tree ” packages addressed to individual Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines deployed in harm’s way. Each package will contain a personal letter written from a child, a magic snow tree that starts out as a green evergreen that magically grows snow over night and a holiday card, all wrapped with good wishes of love and support.

For safety and security, the assembling of all packages will occur at the USO Jacksonville
